We are so excited to partner with you to help make Science Fair Fun™! In order to get the most out of the programs that we offer, it is important that you whitelist us so that our emails will get through to you. To do that, we’ve created this handy how-to that should help.
There are two ways to help our messages reach your inbox. The first is to add us to your contacts list. Adding us to your contacts tells your email provider that you know who we are. The second is to adjust your settings so that your email provider knows our emails are important to you and delivers them to your inbox. We’ll show you how to do this in Gmail and Outlook online, as those are the two most common email providers.
On the right side of the email, you’ll see a vertical ellipses. Click to expand, then select “Add Science Fair Fun to Contacts list.”
You can also teach Gmail that this email is important by marking it as such and you will be able to find them easily, whether or not they are in your inbox.
Lastly, you can tell Gmail that you always want to see these messages by simply dragging the message from the “Promotions” or “Updates” tab onto the “Inbox” tab.
Add to contacts in Outlook by simply clicking on the email address in the header. A dialogue box will appear on the right. Click the horizontal ellipses and “Add to contacts” will appear.
Outlook utilizes two inboxes, “Focused” and “Other.” Emails delivered to the “Other” tab can be send to the Focused inbox by selecting “Move to” from the dropdown menu above and selecting “Always move to focused inbox”
There are dozens of other email clients, but each of them have a similar function. Taking a moment to add us to your contacts will help make sure you don’t miss an email from us!
